SW RIEP e-Procurement Helpline: 0870 850 1592
stephen.jones@ticon.uk.com
The SW RIEP e-procurement helpline is available for any staff member from any of the Local Authorities, Police or Fire and Rescue Services in the South West to call the guidance or advice on their e-procurement activities.
The helpline is operational between 9am and 5pm during working days, and will allow all staff to have free access to valuable experience and advice on e-procurement. The helpline is staffed by Ian Makgill of Ticon who has been working in Local Government e-procurement for four years, he has a good understanding of the issues surrounding e-procurement, the targets facing councils and the progress that many councils have made with e-procurement in the South West.
Ian can help callers with all aspects of their e-procurement, such as 'how do I do spend analysis?' or 'how do I do supplier adoption?', or maybe just provide contact with other councils, such as 'do you know anyone who has used p-cards in Social Services?' The service has been made available by SW RIEP to help with the everyday pieces of work on e-procurement. There is no limit to how many calls, nor is there any charge to councils for using the service (calls are charged at national rate), so please make the most of this opportunity.
Please note: we cannot promise that Ian will be present to answer every call throughout the working day; however, Ticon have guaranteed a response to all enquiries within two working days. In the event that Ian can't help a caller with a particular problem, Ticon will work to put callers in touch with a company or individual who can help to resolve the issue.
