The SWCoE e-procurement helpline is available for any staff member from any of the Local Authorities, Police or Fire and Rescue Services in the South West to call the guidance or advice on their e-procurement activities.

Identifying opportunities for collaboration by seeking suitable existing contracts which Councils in the South West can sign up to.

The spend analysis, conducted by Exor Management Services, allows a strategic approach to be taken to procurement, leveraging buying power, eliminating duplicate activity and reducing purchase costs of goods and services.

Streamline the buying process with Pcards. The Pcard lowers the cost of purchasing by producing requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and multiple payments to suppliers.

The SWCoE is supporting a programme of collaborative e-auctions for various commodities. Each auction is being lead by an individual local authority and other authorities are encouraged to take part to realise increased efficiency savings through collaboration.

Several Authorities in the South West have set up their own web-based Contract Management Systems that include Contract Registers, Opportunity Registers, Contract Management Systems. Access them here.

The OGC and RCE Contracts Databases as well as the PASA eCatalogues Database detail information on contracts and frameworks open for local authorities to buy into. These are updated periodically highlighting updates and new deals, giving authorities the opportunity to access existing deals rather than going through the full procurement process. Contact details for each framework are provided on the sheet and should be the first point of contact.
