Project Objectives and Scope
COPROP heads of property service grouping want to identify opportunities for collaborative procurement opportunities in response to Gershon. The objective of this project is to identify opportunities for collaborative working, and the nature and extent of interest from first tier authorities in the SW.
Anticipated gains from the project
- PIDs for three to four regional projects to be taken forward by the Construction Team (including scope, key deliverables, gantt charts, resource etc)
- Change in membership of Construction Team and/or COPROP to fully represent Counties and Unitaries in the South West. Constructing Excellence should also be included.
Wider implications and anticipated gains if it were successfully rolled out
This is already structured as a regional programme with the benefits of consistency and reduced duplication of approach. This programme also informs the work of the national Construction Workstream.
