Project Objectives and Scope
To tender for call-off contracts or partnership agreements for SEN residential placements from the participating authorities and to produce and implement strategic procurement plans. These are likely to involve partnerships, framework agreements and maybe block contracts as well as in-house developments
Project Status
A second scoping meeting is to be held on 7th September. Initial evaluation of placement and provider data suggests that the market position in different need segments varies and will require a varied approach, but that there could be contestability in significant parts of the market. A lead authority and project leader are being confirmed.
