Project Objectives
The key objectives of the project are to ensure better outcomes for Children and Young People and to deliver efficiency savings by setting up a Commissioning Forum to develop partnerships and collaborative working between commissioners in the region.
Project Status
The project is complete with continued activity now part of the Collaborative Commissioning Support Unit. The Forum meets three times a year and details of forthcoming meetings can be found on the Events section of this website. Membership is open to all Local Authority Commissioners as well as PCTs and other bodies. Provider representatives also attend. Working groups are tackling Strategic Collaborative Commissioning, Provider Relationships, and Contracts & Contracting.
