Project Objectives The key objectives of the project are to ensure better outcomes for Children and Young People and to deliver efficiency savings by setting up a Provider Forum to develop partnerships between commissioners and service providers of placements for children.
Project Status
The project is complete with continued activity now part of the collaborative Commissioning Support Unit. The Forum meets twice a year and details of forthcoming meetings can be found on the events section of this website. The agenda is set by a group of providers and commissioners. Membership of the Forum is open to all providers who supply or wish to supply the SW, with a small membership subscription. Working groups are tackling Placement Stability, Placement Processes, Outcomes for Children, Future Needs, and Contracts & Contracting.
Project Output
A list of Provider contact details will shortly be placed in the members area for use by commissioners.
