LIFT SW hosts the SW Children’s Services Collaborative Commissioning Support Unit (CCSU) on behalf of the Directors of Children’s Services and finances a number of specific projects in association with the Department of Children, Schools and Families commissioning unit.

The South West Children's Services Collaborative Commissioning Unit Children’s Services Commissioning is almost entirely carried out by individual local authorities and health authorities. The Collaborative Commissioning Support Unit assists them to share experience, learning and good practice, develops and runs infrastructure for common use, and promotes and facilitates sub-regional projects.
