A region-wide Transformation Network, putting the customer at the heart of Transformation.
Over the last few years the South West has seen the establishment of several region-wide groups addressing subjects relevant to Business Transformation – the SW Customer Service Managers Group, the SW Flexible Working Group, the SW e-Government Group. In response to demand from councils in the region, Lift SW is facilitating an over-arching ‘Customer Focused Transformation Network’. This will provide a fresh opportunity for like-minded people to come together in a number of ways so as to build understanding, undertake analysis, develop capacity, assist delivery and inform the national agenda.

Current membership…. All councils in the Region were written to in August 2007 asking them to nominate their senior ‘change managers’ to be on the Network’s mailing list – click here to see the current distribution list.

It is envisaged that there will be three 1-day conferences a year, and a number of other ways of sharing information and learning (e-bulletins, training events, surveys, an online Community of Practice, etc.).
Steering Group.…The Network is led by a Steering Group, with representatives from existing Networks, and Network members from local authorities across the region.
