Course Information
APMP is a knowledge based qualification. APMP is a qualification recognised both nationally and internationally that successful candidates can carry from one job to another or from one industry to another.
Would should attend?
APMP is aimed at project managers and aspiring project managers who wish to demonstrate their knowledge of project management. APMP covers 37 knowledge areas from the APM Body of Knowledge. Knowledge of these areas is considered fundamental to the professional management of projects.
This course and qualification is for anyone with more than three years of project management experience.This qualification allows candidates to demonstrate knowledge of all elements of project management in order to assist in the management of projects. Candidates with this qualification will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how these elements interact. They will also be able to understand how their project fits into their strategic and commercial environment.
It is recommended that delegates sit the APM Introductory Course and exam prior to undertaking this qualification.
What is assessed?
The APMP assessment involves one three hour written essay-based paper.
APMP assesses the candidate’s breadth of knowledge in all areas of project management, from strategic and commercial implications, to the technical, organisational, and people management skills required to participate effectively within a project team.
Course Duration:
This is a five day course and delegates will be required to attend the full five days and 1/2 day for the exam.
Cost:
Cost per delegate is: £500 (60% subsidised by SW RIEP).
