Association of Project Management - Introductory Certificate

This Introductory Certificate reflects the growing importance of project management in the workplace. The training provides you with an understanding of the language of project management, and the structure of a successful project.

This Introductory Certificate reflects the growing importance of project management in the workplace. The training provides you with an understanding of the language of project management, and the structure of a successful project.

No prior knowledge or experience in project management is required for this certificate. It is designed for anyone looking to start a successful career in project management or those wanting to understand the principles of project management excellence.

What is assessed?

Assessment will be through a 60 question, multiple-choice exam taken over one hour.

The assessment will cover the principles of project management, including:

  • Planning and scheduling
  • Communications
  • Quality management
  • Teamwork
  • Resource management
  • Risk management
  • Handover
  • Review

Successful candidates will be able to understand the language of project management and the structure of a successful project. They will be able to take an active part in a project team and make a positive contribution to any project environment.

Course duration is 2½ days which includes a 1 hour exam on the final day

Cost per delegate is £215 per person
