Third Sector Commissioning - Overcoming the Barriers to Effective Commissioning - 24th November 2008, Central London rd Sector Commissioning - Overcoming the Barriers to Effective Commissioning -
Capita’s 5th National Third Sector Commissioning Conference focuses on the key challenges facing commissioners in local government and the Third Sector. Action at both a national and local level is increasing as the drive for improved service delivery and increased cooperation gathers speed. This conference will provide the ideal opportunity to keep up to date with the latest developments. This event will answer the questions facing local government and the Third Sector, including:
• What will be the implications of the Transfer of Undertakings Regulations (TUPE) on tendering processes?
• How will smaller Third Sector Organisations (TSOs) be represented as contracts become fewer in number and increase in cost?
• What does effective partnership working look like and how can it improve service delivery?
Delegates attending this event will have the chance to interact with stakeholders in the commissioning process from local government and the Third Sector. Take the opportunity to hear about the latest national policy and good practice at a local level to help improve commissioning in your area.
