Developing outcome focused services is a key element of the Transforming Social Care agenda. To effectively implement the personalisation agenda, will there need to be a link to outcomes - with support being defined not by volume of services delivered but rather on the good that they achieve in meeting the needs of service users?

This learning event is aimed at commissioners and provider organisations in the region, to support them to transform services by implementing an outcome-based approach.

The event will look at commissioning, contracting and delivering for outcomes. We will explore practical approaches being developed by commissioners and providers to deliver services which meet required outcomes for populations, service user groups and individuals. The day will be very participative, with presentations of best practice interspersed with opportunities for you to think about and discuss the issues.

The learning event will start at 10.00am and finish at 2.45pm. There is no charge to attend. After the learning event, the South West Commissioning Leads meeting will take place at 3pm.
