This workshop will provide delegates with:

Understanding of stereotypes and assumptions about older, younger people
Knowledge of the law on Age Discrimination and future legislation
Knowledge of the discrimination and disadvantage faced both by older and younger people
An understanding of best practice on age issues in employment
An opportunity to share good practice on age equality.

Demographic information on the issues for older and younger people in the south west
Quiz on the realities of stereotypes on age
Networking and sharing good practice in challenging ageism
