LocationCrownhill Fort, Plymouth

These Roadshows will enable attendees to hear about developments around our costing model, the "Fair Pricing Tool" for use with residential placements for people with learning disabilities which is already being used extensively within the South West region. At the "Roadshow" we can demonstrate the tools to you and show you recent toolkit developments and explain our plans to extend the use of our care cost model for residential care beyond learning disability services to people with mental health problems.

The Roadshows mark the first stage in the process of authorities piloting the toolkits within mental health services.

3 Roadshows are scheduled across the region:

5th August at Frys Club & Conference Centre, Keynsham
7th August at Taunton Rugby Club, Taunton
14th August at Crownhill Fort, Plymouth

Each Roadshow will start at 10.30 and end at 1.00 with a buffet lunch. There is no charge to attend events but for catering purposes we would ask you and colleagues to register.

Following the success at a recent event of having "market stalls" at lunchtime where providers and authorities can present their new initiatives, tools and ideas as well as chat to colleagues, you are invited to contact Helen Maunder at h.maunder@dorsetcc.gov.uk if you wish to have a table reserved for your "market stall". Numbers will be limited so please make early contact to reserve a space.

We hope you will be able to attend one of these events where we will demonstrate the tools and also describe our experience in realising the main reasons for developing this innovative approach to support commissioning.
