Improving Life Chances for All - the role of elected members

Target audience: Members who have an executive or scrutiny role in relation to equality and diversity and those who have a particular interest.

The event will hear from councillors from the SW and other areas about their experiences of working on equality and diversity issues. It will also give information to members about their role in promoting the new Equality Framework for Local Government and how work on this can help meet the requirements of the Comprehensive Area Assessment.
