The South West Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (SW RIEP) supports Local Authorities take forward work under the department for Communities and Local Government (CLG) efficiency and improvement agendas.

The SW RIEP was set up by four regional improvement agencies in the South West (the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA), the Regional Secretariat (SWLGA), Government Office (GOSW) and the South West RDA (SWRDA).

By working as a partnership the regional improvement agencies are well co-ordinated, more focused, provide better value for money, and are able to disseminate good practice effectively.
